Simple and Sweet: The Little Flowers Cowl

More and more, folks - women, men, and even kids - are wearing simple cowls instead of more traditional scarves, and it's easy to see why. They don't blow off or get caught in things, they can be very easy to make, and they don't take a ton of yarn to knit.  It's the perfect gift for someone else . . . or a personal treasure just for yourself!

Little Flowers Cowl
Our new Little Flowers Cowl is certainly cute!  It's little and it's got flowers.  What else do you need to know?   With the simplest rolled Stockinette stitch edging, this basic repeating “lace” stitch fabric is an ideal weekend knit for even the newest knitter.  Pop in your favorite holiday DVD, warm up a cup of hot chocolate, and get knittin'!

The Little Flowers Cowl is knit with the gorgeous hand-dyed Malabrigo Finito.  Merino wool is the softest wool available anyway, but Malabrigo raises the bar by using only 100% superfine merino.  It just doesn't get any softer!

Malabrigo is a yarn supplier from Uruguay, where Spanish is the main language, and Finito is Spanish for finite, as in "limited."  It's a fitting name for the yarn, because there is only a limited amount of the finest superfine merino wool to be had each year.

Your fingers will love working with the softness of Finito.  Finito is hand-dyed in twelve rich colors.  If  you can't decide which color to choose for your Little Flowers Cowl, you'll just have to knit two or three of them!

Bonus:  The Little Flowers Cowl pattern is free with the purchase of Malabrigo Finito yarn!

Double Bonus: We've got Malabrigo Finito yarn on sale at 20% off!

Happy Knitting . . . . Amy
