| An alpaca in Bolivia |
SimpliCria
A "Cria" is Spanish for a baby alpaca. Alpacas are known for their wonderfully soft, incredibly warm yarn. And just like how a human baby has softer hair than a 60 year old, a cria's fur is even softer than an adult alpaca. HiKoo hand sorts their alpaca twice, so only the softest 1% of the alpaca fleece is used in SimpliCria. Then, they add to the softness by using a chain construction, creating a lofty, airy yarn that just flows! Great for skin-touching projects like a scarf, cowl or hat!

| Kenzington in Boysenberry |
Kenzington was inspired by its cousin, Kenzie. Kenzie is a blend of New Zealand merino with a fun, tweedy look. The new Kenzington uses a similar blend of New Zealand merino wool with nylon for strength, alpaca for softness, and silk noils just for fun! Then the fun is multiplied by adding a chain construction in a bulky weight for a yarn that is soft, airy - and fast! With ten tweedy colors to choose from, you can knit up a quick, cozy cabled sweater or soft and springy accessories.
