December Dream Club - The New Deadwood Cowl

MEMBERS ONLY!  Just kidding!  Everyone is welcome in Dream in Color Dream Club!

Here's how it works:  The gals at Dream in Color pick one of their favorite yarns and dye it an exclusive color that is available only in the Dream Club kit, then pair up the new color with a new pattern.  Once the limited edition color is gone - it's gone!

Deadwood Cowl

December's color is a mix of grass green, gray blue, and grey.  The kit also includes a skein in Old Pueblo (a regular color), a soothing, mellow gray.  Both yarns are Canyon, a 100% extra fine wool yarn in a wonderful aran weight that is grown, spun, and hand dyed in the USA!

The pattern is the "Deadwood Cowl," a cozy cowl designed by Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark.  The unique design creates a colorful reversible fabric that features two color brioche ribbing.  The cowl uses simple centered increases to shape a stylish bandana point.  It's a great project for an introduction to brioche knitting, and perfect to keep you warm with the winter winds to come!

This cowl would make a great holiday gift for someone special - or a well-deserved treat for yourself for getting all of your holiday knitting done!
