Colorwork Cowl KAL (How fast can you say that?)

It's time for another one of Michelle Hunter's Progressive Needles Knit Alongs!  The October KAL (Knit-A-Long) is Colormatic, a fabulous cowl featuring four colors, and Michelle promises that the design is tons of fun for both novice and veteran knitters.

Kenzie yarn in Bayberry

Colormatic is knit in HiKoo's Kenzie yarn.  Never knit with Kenzie?  Then you are in for a treat!  This unique yarn is a blend of New Zealand Merino wool, nylon, angora and alpaca with a bit of silk noils to give it color and texture.  The yarn is soft and slightly fuzzy with good stitch definition and a slightly tweedy look.  Bonus:  Our Kenzie yarn is all 20% off!

Never done a KAL?  It's easy ... Michelle will reveal the pattern on her website in four segments, every Thursday in October starting on October 3rd.  Have a question?  No problem ... the pattern includes photos and online video instructions.  It's like having a knitting tutor right by your side.  How much does it cost?  Nothing!  You don't have to register or pay any fee to participate.  Extra Bonus: you may even win some cool prizes from Skacel.

You'll need four skeins (one of each color) for a 32" cowl and eight skeins (two of each color) for an infinity cowl up to 68" to wear fashionably doubled.

You'll also need:  

• US #7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needle
• US #8 (5mm) 16” circular needle
• Size G or H crochet hook
• Waste Yarn - 2 yards
• Removable Stitch Markers
