Another New Exclusive Fiber Wild Yarn Color!

The jewel-like tones of the Bozemill pool.
Last August, Wendi and three good friends went down to the Missouri-Arkansas border for a raft trip on the Eleven Point River.  Located in the Mark Twain National Forest, the river meanders through the picturesque Ozark hills.  One of the many springs feeding this beautiful river is Bozemill, a sparkling turquoise pool that drops 45 feet below ground and is surrounded by aquatic plants in many shades of green.

The mill's former turbine.
The spring forms a deep blue pool as it emerges from underground, producing an average of 12 to 14 million gallons of water per day.  In the 1880s the strong current was used to turn the giant turbine of the Lucas Boze grist mill, and the area was an important center of commerce where farmers hired Mr. Boze to grind their wheat and corn into flour and cornmeal.  Today the skeleton of the turbine still exists; the wooden paddles have long since rotted away.
