Holiday Accessories!

Christmas Stocking Kits
Have you started your holiday knitting?  It might be too late to start some of our favorite bigger projects like such as Classic Elite's Billy Cardigan, the Building Blocks afghan, or the Baby Bunting), but you procrastinators still have plenty of time to knit some terrific accessory projects.  Our Holiday Central page has lots of project suggestions... a few of my favorites are:
  • Knit a charming little doll with adorable accessories with Purl the Little Knit Girl.  This book includes 25 irresistible patterns for this adorable doll named "Purl".  Included is the basic doll pattern and six sets of themed accessories along with a matching child size hat pattern. Bonus:  We have over 60 colors of Simplicity yarn and it's all on sale at 20% off!
  • The Fishtail Hollow Sock pattern is knit top down on two circular needles, using a simple lace pattern to create a big statement. Placed asymmetrically, the pattern is enjoyable to knit and the socks are fun to wear!  Knit with Mountain Color Yarn's Crazyfoot yarn, you can choose an exclusive color to make your socks especially unique!
  • Don't have time to knit two socks?  Just knit one!  Our Christmas Stocking Kits include 100% wool yarn and knitting instructions (including an alphabet so that you can add a name to the stocking), plus all the embellishments such as sequins, beads, bells, pom poms, etc., are included and may be sewn or glued to the stocking.  We have five different designs available.
  • Purl the Little Knit Girl
  • Scarves you say?  ... with style?  Then Scarf Style 2 is the book for you!  Discover 26 fresh new designs for scarves, shawls, and cowls.  Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, Scarf Style 2 will introduce you to a wide range of patterns with knitting techniques such as color, lace, cables and more!  A one-skein scarf is a great excuse to splurge on a luxury fiber!
