Name That Lamb!

Juliet says to Romeo "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet," meaning that names don't matter.  But we disagree!  Wouldn't it be cool if you could pick the name for Catherine (Kate), the Duchess of Cambridge's expected royal baby?

You can't of course, but we've got the next best thing!  One of our employees, Suzy the Shepherdess, raises a good size flock of sheep on her nearby farm using only traditional 19th century farming techniques. Her oldest ewe, “Queen,” recently had a little “princess” and we need your help to name her! To vote, visit the poll on Ravelry.

You can choose from one of the four options below or write in your own choice.
The Royal Lamb

What's my Name?  The "Princess" (in front)
A) Charlotte
B) Alexandra
C) Elizabeth
D) Diana
E) Other

The name with the most votes will be graciously bestowed upon this little cutie. Voting ends July 31st ... we’ll announce the winning name in our August 1st e-mail. Be sure to sign up here to receive the e-mail!
Happy Knitting! . . . .  Amy

Thanks to everyone who voted on our “Help us Name Suzy's Royal Lamb” poll on Ravelry. We asked for help and you responded with gusto! For awhile the names Charlotte and Alexandra were neck and neck, but then Charlotte pulled ahead and kept going strong until the poll ended. We are proud to introduce Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Suzy’s Farm! May she rule long and well over all the other sheep in her herd!
